Vicky L. Jackson, 53 of El Paso died early on Sunday January 21, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph hospital in Bloomington after a year long battle with kidney cancer.

Cremation has been accorded by Ruestman Harris Funeral Home. A Celebration of Vicky's life is being planned for a later date. (Saturday, March 10, 2018.)

Vicky was born in Des Moines, IA on Dec 14, 1964, the daughter of Jeannine (Booton) Hall and William G. Hall (deceased).

Surviving are her husband Kurt and 2 children, Kain (18) and Haagan (16), and her mother, all of El Paso; 2 sisters, Cyndi (and Ray) Wilcox of East Peoria, Lisa (and Alan) Hardman of Carlock; a mother-in-law and father-in-law; 5 Sister-in-laws; 5 brother-in-laws; 7 nieces, and 7 nephews.

Vicky graduated from Lexington High School and studied early childhood education at Illinois State University. She married Kurt on October 21, 1995.

She was a special education teachers' aide at Jefferson Park Elementary School, and had volunteered there for 12 years. She was a huge supporter of Youth and High School Football and Wrestling programs. Vicky was a devoted wife and mother, and was passionate about educating children and caring for her family. She enjoyed traveling with family and weekend getaways with her husband and friends. She touched the hearts of many in her short time, and will be missed greatly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude, American Cancer Society, or Autism Awareness.

Not blood related to Monty Dean Hall. Monty was adopted by William George Hall.
