James Franklin Worrell, 82, of Beckley, WV joined his wife, Julia K. Bowling-Worrell (1938-2017) in Heaven on her first heavenly birthday, January 16, 2018.

James was born in Beckley, WV to the late Jessie Clyde Worrell Sr. (1905-1988) and Rena Lillian Peters-Worrell (1912-1978). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Kay Bowling-Worrell (1938-2017) whom he married on August 17, 1956 in Lester, Raleigh County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Raleigh County, WV, 1956, Page 169, Application Date: August 8, 1956); siblings, Freddie Clyde Worrell (1933-1971), Jessie Clyde Worrell Jr. (Deceased), and Clytie Worrell-Johnson (Deceased). James was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

James was a member of the Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Terri Worrell-Smith & husband Joe Smith and Sherry Worrell-Snuffer & husband John Snuffer; grandchildren, Amber Sweeney & husband Vincent Sweeney, and John Michael Snuffer Jr. & wife Alycia Snuffer, and beloved dog, Babygirl.

Keeping with the families wishes, there are no public services scheduled.
