Elsie was born March 28, 1943 in Custer, WI to the late Felix and Laura (Gagas) Kielpinski. She married Chester Hintz on November 17, 1962 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. Together they farmed, raised veal and grew ginseng in the Town of Bevent.
Elsie was also a baker at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a member of the St. Ladislaus Rosary Society and the Bevent Lions Club. Her husband Chester preceded her in death on July 31, 2013.
Elsie enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching her birds and going on outings with her friends. Her faith was a very important part of her life, enjoying the many church gatherings and would always bake a pie or brought a dish to share with others, and praying the rosary was important to her.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.
Elsie is survived by her children; Earl (Kelly) Hintz, Doris (Tom) Genovese, Ron (Shana) Hintz and Darryl (Jenny) Hintz. Twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Ann Marie (Norbert) Danczyk, brothers Norman (Rose) Kielpinski and Myron Kielpinski. Sisters in laws Lillian Kaminski, Selma Glodowski and Dorothy (Jim) Wachowiak and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chester, one son Leroy and brother in laws Florian, Frank, Tony, Raymond and Stanley and sister in laws Winifred Mlodik, Anna Palbrach, Theresa Kulas and Regina Stencil.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Ladisuas Catholic Church in Bevent. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. Saturday morning at St. Ladislaus Church until the time for mass, with the rosary being prayed at 9:30 A.M. at the church. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
Mom and Dad are together again, playing with Leroy in heaven. The family would like to thank all the care staff at Willow Brooke Assisted Living, the Dr’s and nurses at Ascension and Ministry Home Health Care for all your kindness and care given to our mother.
