Kari Lanae Martin, 2, passed away at the Hershey Medical Center on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. Born July 4, 2015, she was the daughter of Jaron K. and Larinda A. Geiser Martin.
Kari was known to her family as their "Special" Butterfly. Given only two years, she gave her family many lasting memories; she will be sorely missed by them all.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Merle and Joyce Geiser and paternal grandparents, Arlin and Keturah Martin. Kari was preceded in death by an uncle, Tristan Josh Martin.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at 10 AM at Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church, 9244 Five Forks Rd, Waynesboro, 17268, where Pastors Edwin Eby, Vancen Miller, and Vernon Shank will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, from 1-3 and 5-8 PM at the Marion Mennonite Church, 4365 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg, 17202. Interment will follow the service on Thursday in Calvary Mennonite Church Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
