He married Dee Anna (Schuetz) Hanner on September 26, 1981 in Bunker Hill, IL. He was a computer technician for Western Union. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Bunker Hill, IL. He enjoyed Quarter Midget Racing, Nascar, Sprint Cars, St. Louis Cardinals, feeding birds, and watching his grandkids play ball.
He is survived by his father, Gene Hanner of Woodburn, IL, spouse, Dee Hanner of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Jason Hanner of Bunker Hill, IL, Dea (Dusty) Bennett of Bunker Hill, IL, Sara (Justin) Paul of Bunker Hill, IL, Tara (Jake) Provaznik of Bunker Hill, IL, grandchildren, Danica, Ryleigh, Jaxon, Wrigley, Laytnn "Eddie", Gracie, brothers, Mike Hanner of Woodburn, IL, Jim (Debbie) Hanner of Woodburn, IL, Kenny (Deb) Hanner of Bunker Hill, IL, brother in law, Bud Hancock of Woodburn, IL, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
