Mr. Harold Eugene Pearson, 89, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Tennova Regional Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Obion Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Ernest Pounds will officiate the service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Justin Pearson, Nick Pearson, Scott Peters, Kyle Pearson, Mike Ruckle and Kyle Gedenk.
Mr. Pearson was born March 4, 1928 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Dudley Max and Mattie Hazel (Porter) Pearson. He retired after 39 ½ years from MILW Railroad, was a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ and was a United States Army WWII Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lucille Pearson in 2016; two sisters, Bertie Logan and Marie Burr; one brother, Dwayne Pearson.
He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gail Peters (Jeff) of Peotone, Illinois and one son, Bobby Gene Pearson (Rae) of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Kathleen Wheeler of Milan and Wanda Crossett of Huntingdon; two brothers, Billy Pearson and Jimmy Pearson both of the Terry Community. He also leaves five grandchildren, Brian Pearson, Stacy Ruckle, Scott Peters, Sara Tolzmann, and Nick Pearson, and sixteen great grandchildren.
