Julie Anne Stewart, 58, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, surrounded by all her family and friends, at Hamilton Pointe Nursing Home in Newburgh. She was born December 30, 1959, in Owensboro to the late Jerry and Jean (Schaefer) Stewart. Julie was of the Catholic faith and was a Field Trainer with Fazoli's Restaurants. She loved the outdoors and going to Carolina Beach in North Carolina. Julie enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, was an avid golfer, and going to Nascar races. She had an entrepreneural spirit and was a baseball enthusiast always following the progress of her nephews in their professional baseball careers.
Julie is survived by her best friend and life partner, Debby Reneer, three sisters, Joan (George) Ijames of Owensboro, Jamie (Alex) Schmidt of Severna Park, MD, and Jeanie Green of Owensboro, three brothers, Jared (Sandy) Stewart of Owensboro, Jay (Ronnie) Stewart of Prairieville, LA, and Harold (Stephanie) Reneer of Princeton, IN. Also surviving are Momma Carrol Brown of Princeton, 16 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Services will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday, January 25, at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday with prayers at 7:00 P.M. and from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
