Lorene Barnett, age 94 of Searcy, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2018 in Searcy. She was born December 9, 1923 to the late Alexander and Lula Mae Cohorn Stracener. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy, where she attended until she entered the nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters. She is survived by her son, Jerrell Barnett and wife Virginia; two daughters, Phyllis Meredith of Sherwood, Anita Coombe and husband Tony of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Dana Baker, Jeffrey Barnett, Melissa Silverman, Alecia Golden, Travis Coombe, Treena Musselman; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Christine Barnett; and sister-in-law, Gleetis Stracener.
