Mrs. Annie Mae Temples Rutland, 87, of Warrenville, SC, entered into rest on Sunday, January 21, 2018, in the comfort of her home, under the loving care of Trinity Hospice. A lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Gary and Nancy Warren Temples. She was a member of Burnettown First Baptist and retired from the K-Mart Corporation after over twenty-one years of service. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to gospel singings and even up until the Friday before her death, watching birds. In addition to her parents, family members include her children and their spouses, Nancy and Terry Miller, Buford, GA, Dennis and Sarah Rutland, Athens, TN, Randy and Susan Rutland, Aiken, SC, Tony Rutland and his fiancé, Renee Jowers, Warrenville, SC and the late Darlene Rutland, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 6 until 8 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 2 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with Pastor Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, SC. It has been suggested that memorials be made to Burnettown First Baptist Church P.O. Box 322 Langley, SC 29834 or the Samaritan’s Purse.
