Melissa L. "Lissy" Wilson, 34, of Beloit, WI, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born February 19, 1983 in Beloit, WI. Lissy was a 2001 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She attended University of Milwaukee and Blackhawk Technical College. Lissy was formerly employed by Shopko, Payless Shoes in Beloit, WI and Servicom in Loves Park, IL. She enjoyed watching football and basketball, going to Summerfest with her father, spending time with her nephew, playing games on her cell phone, watching Sponge Bob and the Golden Girls, and traveling to visit her family. Lissy attended Community Baptist Church, South Beloit, IL. She is survived by her mother; her father and step-mother; a sister; maternal grandparents; step-sisters; aunts; uncles and many more. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Lawrence and Eudene Wilson, aunts, Florine Listenbee and Lorine Sandlin. Funeral service for Lissy will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Gary Collins officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
