Catherine R. Henson, age 59, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

Catherine Ruth Strauss was born on May 16, 1957 in Watertown, the daughter of Robert B. and Carol (Ninmann) Strauss. She was a 1975 graduate of Johnson Creek High School. On October 21, 1986, she married Michael Henson in Watertown. Catherine and her husband operated Market Street Inn in Watertown. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her father’s flower beds. Catherine loved riding her Harley Davidson and spending time with her beloved Pugs.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Mike Henson; children, Andy (Tracie) Winkelman of Watertown; Becky (Ryan) VanThiel of Oshkosh; Danny (Stacey) Winkelman of Ixonia; Amber (Duane) Cole of South Dakota; nine grandchildren: Jacob Winkelman, Jackson Winkelman, Alexis Winkelman, Derek VanThiel, Caleb VanThiel, Carle Winkelman, Jordan Winkelman, Emma Sherwood and Taylor Cole; father, Robert Strauss of Johnson Creek, brother, Rob (Jerri) Strauss of Helenville; niece, Morgan Strauss; nephew, Taylor Strauss as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Strauss.
