Mr. Lawrence was born on April 22, 1951, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Charles Edwin Lawrence, Sr. and Ruth K. Lawrence. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edwin Lawrence, Jr. and an aunt, Dorothy K. McCullough, who raised him in Hemingway, SC. He was owner and operator of Southeast Wholesale Door and was a partner in Santee Ready Mix. He served in the National Guard and was a Corvette enthusiast. He was a member of the National Corvette Restore Society. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Indiantown Presbyterian Church in Indiantown, SC.
Mr. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Vickie Mulling Lawrence of Locust Grove, GA; a daughter: Chase Lawrence (Jessan) Hager of Asheville, NC; a son: Charles "Chuck" Lawrence (Alice Palmer) of Monroe, GA; three grandchildren: Palmer Lawrence, McCullough Hager, and Jessa Hager; and two sisters: Marilyn (Holmes) Collins of Allen, TX, and Beverly (Tyndall)Threadgill of Hochston, GA., and his beloved dog, Luke.
