Pastor Frank Gale Noyes, 74, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:22 AM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.

Pastor Noyes was born on December 27, 1943 in Essex, MO to Julian J. and Ellen (Byers) Noyes. He married Judie (Nelson) Noyes May 1, 1971 in Flint, MI.

His parents preceded him in death.

Surviving are: his wife, Judie of Pekin; two sons, Michael J. (Kelli) Noyes of Nashville, TN and Nathan M. (Jamie) Noyes of Pekin; one daughter, Rachel E. (Chris) McGee of Pekin; four grandchildren, Noah Noyes, Sarah Noyes, Elisabeth McGee and Jeffrey McGee; one brother, Harvey A. Noyes of Essex, MO.

Pastor Noyes served Gethsemane Church in Pekin for over 40 years. His passion was preaching and serving his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Isaiah 8:20 - To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

As a young man, Pastor Noyes was raised on a family farm in Essex, MO. After high school, he worked as a "sheet-metal man" on several projects, including the Gemini space shuttle. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Missouri National Guard.

Visitation will be at Gethsemane Church at 1601 Frederick Drive, Pekin, on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM (and one hour prior to the funeral service). Funeral services will be at Gethsemane Church at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018 with Pastor Andrew Durst officiating. Henderson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Pastor Noyes’ arrangements.

Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
