Albert 0. Madl, 90, a five-year resident of Upland, died there Saturday after a short illness. He was a native of Baldwin Park, Kansas. Before retiring he worked as a car inspector for the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Grace; a son, Oliver of Apple Valley; a brother, Joe of Baldwin City; and one grandchild.
Services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today in the Draper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
