Mr. Ronnie A. Lee, 69, of Corsicana passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village in Corsicana. He was born on October 3, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert Arnold and Ethel Elizabeth (Riley) Lee.
He owned and operated Lee’s Roofing Company for 37 years, retiring in 2014. He served the Lord faithfully for many years, and attended Community Chapel Church in Corsicana. His last week of life on this earth was spent in the wonderful care of Heritage Oaks Retirement Village for rehab. He has now gone to glory waiting for the rest of us. This wonderful man of God, the best of the best, is worshipping and doing his “little jig” before the Lord as we speak as he receives his crown of righteousness. How his testimony and words of wisdom will live in my heart and continue to inspire me to do God’s will. Love you so much paw-paw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Lee; brothers, Bobby Lee and Lonnie Lee; and sisters, Marquitta Hand, Linda Castle, Peggy Lowe, Nellie Hartford and Wanda Honea.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Robbie M. Lee of Corsicana; daughters, Teresa Ann McKain of Valley Mills, Cindy L. Boyd and husband Jimmy of Angus, Gwen Prickett and husband Robert of Ennis, and Ronda Prickett and husband Gordon (Bubba) of Dawson; grandsons, William McKain and wife Cheryl of Valley Mills, Jeremy Boyd and wife Ashley of Corsicana, Josh Boyd and wife Casey of Angus and Billy Lee Maurice Bowers of Dawson; granddaughters, Glenda Washburn and husband Michael of Corsicana, April Willeford of Dawson, and Rochelle Rannigan and husband Toby of Wilmer; twenty great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a big host of friends.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Community Chapel Church in Corsicana with the Rev. Lonnie Keele and Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Cremation will follow the service as per his wish.
Pallbearers will be Toby Rannigan, Robert Prickett, Austin McKain, Michael Washburn, Steve Washburn and Jerrel Forbes. Honorary Pallbearer is Billy Lee Maurice Bowers.
