Mr. Jimmy Dale Copeland, age 78 of Wingo, Ky passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 6:05 AM at Clinton Place Nursing Home in Clinton, Ky.

He was a member of the Wingo Baptist Church where he had previously been the song leader for many years; He was a Self-Employed Farmer- farming was his passion, his hobby, and his profession.

Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife of 59 years- Lana Jean Brown Copeland of Wingo, Ky; two daughters- Shae Ann Copeland and Zan Beth (Rodney) Nance both of Wingo, Ky; his sister- Charlotte (Ricky) Mullins of Mayfield, Ky; four grandchildren- Isaac Darnell, Allye Darnell, Ethan Darnell, and Evan Darnell; two step-grandchildren- Tyler Nance and Collin Nance; 3 nieces and two nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his sister- Norma Pickens; brother- Harry “Don” Copeland; parents- James Albert & Lillie Louise Gossum Copeland.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, Ky with Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and Rev. Chris Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, Ky.
