Pamela K. Starnes, age 66, of Maquon, Illinois, passed away on January 20, 2018 at 2:50 A.M. at the Renaissance Care Center in Canton, Illinois.

She was born on June 12, 1951 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Enos and Golda Irene (Howard) Kelso. She married Bud Starnes on August 17, 1975.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Bud Starnes of Maquon, Illinois; her daughters: Brandy (John) McCone of Fairview, Illinois, Trudy (Eric) Stuckey of London Mills, Illinois; her grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Green, Cody, Brittany and Bradley McCone, Matthew Stuckey; three great-grandchildren: Jersey, Gunner, Baby Green; her brothers: Wilbur Dean Kelso of Maquon, Illinois, and Rog (Ree) Kelso of Abingdon, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers: Don, Jim, Gary, Earl, and Allen Kelso.

Pamela was employed at County Market in Farmington, Illinois, and worked in the deli for ten years, retiring in 2016. She also served as an election judge for over thirty years for Maquon Township. She loved the Saint Louis Cardinals and NHRA racing.

A Celebration of Life in Pam’s honor will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Maquon United Methodist Church in Maquon, Illinois. In honor of Pam, please wear a favorite Cardinals (or another team) shirt. Memorials may be made to the family. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
