Cheryl Pinson Ward, 60, of Leesburg, GA passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at The Willson Hospice House. Private services will be held by the family and interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery



Born in Mobile, AL, to Allie Pinson and the late George Pinson, Cheryl was a widowed military spouse and dedicated mother of two sons. She most recently worked at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as an Patient Rep in the emergency center.

In addition to her father, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Scott Ward. Survivors include two sons Andrew Ward and Adam Ward and his spouse Katie all of Leesburg, GA, two brothers Greg Pinson of Albany, GA, George Pinson of Seattle, WA, a sister Marcina Pinson of Tifton, GA, her mother Irene Pinson of Leesburg, GA, and three grandchildren Lily Ward, Owen Ward, and Grayson Ward.



In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorials to the American Widow Project or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
