James Edward Herring, Jr., age 64, of Orange, Va. passed away on December 2, 2017. Mr. Herring was born in Charlottesville to the late James Edward Herring, Sr. and Mary Louise Mallory Herring. He enjoyed a long career as a call center dispatcher for Plow & Hearth.
Mr. Herring is survived by his brothers, Chester Herring and his wife, Martha of Unionville and Michael Herring and his wife, Lynann of North Carolina; his sisters, Patricia Morris and her husband Ronnie of Gordonsville and Cindy Smith and her husband, James of Orange; and many friends.
The family welcomes friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Preddy Funeral Home of Orange. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, with burial to follow at Graham Cemetery.
