Dave grew up on Presque Isle, where his father was a caretaker. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was deployed with the 1958th Communications Squadron to Guam. He was awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a self-employed contractor for many years, retiring in 2007. Dave loved motorcycles, nature, and especially loved his Chihuahua, "Tiny."
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Rosalie F. "Rose" Eppley and Shirley Ackerman and a brother, Earl Fiesler.
He is survived by his wife, Joan K. Foster Mink Fiesler, married 4/4/2003); two sons, Charles "Chuck" Fiesler (Johnie) of Vail, AZ and Michael Fiesler (Crystal) of AZ; his grandchildren, a stepson and step-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, David L. Eppley of Erie and Ronald Foster of Grants Pass, Ore., and also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service at Sterrettania Cemetery with full military honors.
