Carolyn Jordan Owen Rice, (Mema), age 86, a native Atlanta resident, passed away on January 20, 2018. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Curtis G. and Corinne O’Shields Jordan and her brother, Richard Cecil Jordan. She is survived by son Douglas Donald Owen Jr, daughter-in-law Robin Owen, 2 grandsons David (Jen) Owen and Daniel (Kristen) Owen. Carolyn was a 1949 Graduate of Roosevelt High School and a Legal Secretary for 50 years, having started working part time for Lawyers during her senior year of High School. She is a long-time member of North Peachtree Baptist Church/Crossroads of Dunwoody. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, with Reverend Bobby Gastley officiating.
