Samuel and Ann Liddington and the four eldest of the Liddington children emigrated from London to New Zealand in 1874 on board the ship "Buckinghamshire", which left East India Docks, London on the 4th of March 1874.The family landed in Dunedin in May 1874 and travelled overland and up to the North island finally settling in Masterton.

In loving memory of Samuel, beloved husband of Ann Liddington. Died 5 April 1920 aged 76 years. "Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to thy cross I cling". Ann Liddington, beloved wife of the above died 10 Nov 1930 aged 85 years. Reunited.
