Grandma Etta was living in Jacksonville, Ala. in 1900 as she was on the census w/her daddy in law James Madison Baggett. We do not have info about her death or reason for death. She was married to Monroe Baggett and they had 5 sons: Lewis, William, George my grandpa, John and J.E. who we believe was J.? Elias but no proof of his real name. We have 2 different tales as to her husbands name. One is it was George Monroe as was Grandpa's name and only went by Monroe but 2 of her sons, Lewis and John has on their death certifcates that his name was George M. Baggett. Other Baggett relatives we do not know or have not met personally have his name as James Monroe Baggett. Grandma is buried beside her mama Louisa Zeigler Zeigler as she was a Zeigler before marrying and J.E. her son.
