METHUEN -- Eileen M. (O'Connor) Archibald, 98, of Methuen, passed away Monday May 5th at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lowell, MA daughter of John and Christine (Toolan) O'Connor. Eileen was raised and educated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School and later on married her husband of 57 years Joseph F. Archibald who had passed in 2000. In her free time she enjoyed knitting for charities and was a parishioner of St. Lucy's Church in Methuen and was a member of Ladies Solidarity at the church.

Eileen is survived by her sons Thomas Archibald and his wife Kathleen of N. Chelmsford, David Archibald of Methuen, Joseph Archibald of Atlanta, GA, a brother Edmund O'Connor of Lowell, grandchildren Michael, Leesa, Joseph Jr., Patrick, and Bridget. Besides her husband Joseph, she is also pre deceased by her brothers Gerald O'Connor, John O'Connor, James O'Connor, sisters Sheila Early, Edna Stirk, and Mary Heidenrich.

ARCHIBALD -- Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday May 8th from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday May 9th at 11AM at St Lucy's Church in Methuen with burial to follow at St Patrick's Cemetery in Lowell. Memorial contributions in Eileen's honor may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
