LOUISE S. NIEMEYER was born in N. Y. C, Sept. 14, 1882 — the daughter of Samuel and Nina (Stern) Striker.

Ed. in a private school for girls, N. Y. City.

Sept. 11, 1929, she married Atalus J. Niemeyer. Mother of Francis Baird Millson by a former marriage. Mrs. Niemeyer is related by marriage to the late Wm. J. Bryan.

An early pioneer in San Fernando Valley; active in civic, educational and Valley development affairs; instrumental in securing gas, light, water, streets, phones, police and fire protection for San Fernando Valley.

Recognized leader among women of the Valley, has taken active part in all Dem. party affairs for over (20) years; also active in party affairs in N. Y. C, Idaho and Calif. One of organizers and original workers in behalf of 2nd street tunnel in Los Angeles, when she was a resident of that city, 1916.

At present in real estate and ins. bus.

Writer of note and writes for the Picture Trade Paper, a Canadian Digest, and local newspapers.
