WALTER KURTZ was born in Milwaukee Oct. 9, 1883, the son of the late Michael and Mrs. Kurtz. Educated in the Milwaukee public schools, he married Grace Forespan, March 31, 1906 in Milwaukee. His wife passed away Dec. 15, 1918. Kurtz wed Matilda Kueht June 7, 1920 in Milwaukee. His widow survives him.
Deceased was a member of Masonic Lodge 154, Wisconsin 320; Royal Arch, Chapter A.A.M.; a past president of the Wis. Gladiolus Society and of Calumet Chapter OES.
Survivors besides his wife include one son, Walter, Germantown, Wis., and three daughters, Mrs. Dione Bieniek and Mrs. Odeen Polzin, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Bernice Ringwold, Milwaukee. Ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren complete the family.
Funeral services will be held at from St. Boniface Episcopal Church. Rev. Livingston will conduct the services. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Milwaukee.
