Lois Ethel (Coburn) Berry, of Visalia California passed from this life on Friday January 19, 2018 at the age of 83. Lois was born on September 22, 1934 to Ernest and Ethel Coburn in Geyserville California. She married Don Berry on January 25, 1957 in Portland Oregon. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2000. Lois and Don raised their family in the Fresno area before moving to Visalia in 1999 to be near their children. Lois' favorite thing was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked for many years for Internal Medicine Associates of Fresno as medical biller and office manager. She was an active member of the Visalia Community Church of Christ and previously the Woodard Park Church of Christ of Fresno.
She is survived by her children David Berry and his wife Sherri, of Visalia, Peggy Scheppegrell and her husband Michael of Forney Texas, Pamela Patterson and her husband Rick of Visalia, 11 grandchildren, Amanda McManus, Rebecca Davis, Steven Patterson, Letisha Birchem, Michelle Scheppegrell, Carrie Himes, Jonathan Scheppegrell, Kelsey Berry, Patrisha Wright, Jennifer Melton and Kyle Beard and 17 great-grandchildren. Her brothers Ernest Coburn of Eugene Oregon and Bob Coburn of Harrisburg Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Visalia Community Church of Christ on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Visalia Community Church of Christ on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
