Donna G. Higgins, 60, resident of Clark Fork, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Bonner General Health in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.

Donna was born on April 18, 1955 in Ione, WA to David and Edna Hagstrom. She grew up in Clark Fork, ID and graduated from Clark Fork High School in 1973. Donna married David Higgins on October 31, 1987 in Clark Fork. She worked for P & E, Idaho Wood Works, and as a Stylist Assistant in the photo studio at Coldwater Creek.

Donna was a very welcoming and hospitable person. She enjoyed hosting BBQ’s for her friends and family. She always made more than enough food, so you never left her house hungry! Donna was well known for her sense of humor. You couldn’t help but laugh in her presence. She loved being a grandma and her grandchildren were a huge source of joy for her. She was a giving person, and delighted in doing things for those she loved. Donna was loved by so many and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband David Higgins of Clark Fork; son Derrick (Michelle) Hagstrom of Sandpoint; step-son Nick (Alli) Higgins of Post Falls; step-daughter Tara Higgins of Sagle; adopted son George(Jamie) Post of Post Falls; six grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
