Paul G. Thayer, of Rochester, NY, passed away after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs disease (ALS).
Predeceased by brother, Dr. William Thayer. Survived by wife, Cindy; his son, Michael (Jennifer) Thayer; 3 grandchildren; brothers and sister, Edward (Barbara) Thayer Sr., Donald (Barbara Ahern) Thayer Sr., John (Mary) Thayer and Shirley (Ron) Bullock; many nieces and nephews.
Paul was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, The Patriot Guard, Village Keepers, retiree of General Motors and a longtime volunteer of the Warners Fire Dept. in Syracuse.
Friends may call 4-7 Tuesday at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY. Funeral Service, 11 AM Wednesday at Lakeview Community Church, 30 Long Pond Road. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery.
