Arlene Schlosser Keller went home to Jesus, her Lord, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Brethren Village, Lititz, at the age of 91.

She was under Hospice Care for a short time and died of natural causes. She was the wife of Norman E Keller, deceased in 2009, the year they had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Arlene was born to Ira Milton Schlosser and Ada Krall Schlosser on August 2, 1926, in Reistville, PA. After graduating from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA, with a degree in music, she taught public school music from 1947 through 1949 at Lititz School District, first through twelfth grade.
She was a member of the Midway Church of the Brethren (Lebanon, PA), where – across her 50 years of service - she taught hundreds of children, youth, and adults to love music and to love God. She was also instrumental in establishing the first annual Christmas tableau that was held at Midway and organized road trips that took the youth choir to share their ministry of music with other churches. Her legacy as a gifted Sunday School teacher, deacon, youth leader, mentor and friend lives on in the lives of the many who will always remember her with a song in their heart.
At the age of 61, she earned her private pilot's license from Lancaster Airport and was, with Norman, a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the International Flying Farmer's Association for many years.
Surviving are four children: Cindy Keller (Dale) Wittenberg, Lititz, Thom (Susan Klein) Keller, Schaefferstown, Dan (Suzy Lynn) Keller, Rexmont, and Jane Keller, Lancaster.
Also surviving are five in-laws: Eileen Keller (wife of late Mark E Keller, Jr.) Buffalo Springs, Myrl Keller, spouse of Nathan E Keller, Buffalo Springs, Rachel Keller Spease, wife of Dr. Carl Spease, Hummelstown, three grandchildren, Benjamin O (Lauren Raudenbush) Wittenberg of Raleigh NC, Danielle Keller (Joe) Gochenauer of Lebanon, Caleb (Megan Zimmerman) Keller of Lititz, Ted Klein, brother of Susan Klein Keller, and five great-grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her sister, Verna Schlosser Sollenberger, wife of late Robert Sollenberger, her brother, Norman Schlosser, and grandson, Andrew Dale Wittenberg.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Arlene's Life Celebration service at Midway Church, 13 Evergreen Road; Lebanon, PA 17042 on Wednesday, at 10:30 AM, January, 24, 2018, with the Reverend Charles Ilyes officiating.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, January 23rd, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Midway Church. Following Arlene's Life Celebration, a meal will be served in the church Family Life Center.
