Carlene Jones was born on July 10, 1946 in Mecosta County. When Carlene was 20 years old she relocated to Grand Rapids MI. Carlene was a dedicated and proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She fought a long courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at her home on Friday January 12, 2018 with her family around her.
Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Hazel Jones, sisters Joyce, Wanda, Lila. She is survived by her loving life partner Elvis Brown, Sister Cecil Mayhue, 3 sons Robert, Kenneth (Lashaunda), Les-Paul and a daughter Elizabeth 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Timothy, Kenneth, Bobby-Joe, Brianna, Daria, Dawn, Kenneth, Tomyra, Teaira, Les-Paul and 7 great grandchildren Jessae, Jevasae, Uriah, JaQua, Joseph, Ahmir, Aniyah and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday 1:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW where her family will receive visitors from 11 am- 1:00 pm. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
