Charles E Kyger, Jr., 88 of Danville, passed away at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center.

He was born September 10, 1929 in Danville, the Son of Charles E. Kyger Sr. and Velma (King) Kilgore. Survivors include his sister Rene (Elliot Beck) Bryant, son Gary Kyger, daughters Charlotte (Curry) Robbins and Kimberley (Robert Fauver) Curry. Grandchildren, Ryan and Cory Kyger, Michael (Marlane) Robbins and Sierra (Dakota Loden) Pollard, 6 Great-grandchildren with a girl on the way.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, sisters Donna Keller and Delores Johnson, daughter in law Vickie Kyger and the love of his life Rita Curry.

Chuck was in the United States Navy from July 1948 until July 1952. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and retired from Interstate Printers. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and spending time with his family. Chuck was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

The family of Chuck would like to thank everyone at North Logan Healthcare for the care he received. A special thank you to Tammy in Activities for going the extra mile for him.
