Richard Dillard, age 75, passed away at Agrace Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Janesville, Wisconsin on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 after a long and courageous battle of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Renzie and Mildred Dillard. Richard married Denise McNamara on Oct. 15, 1994 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton, WI. Richard served in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1967 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary Catholic Church; a member of Mason Lodge #514 in Greenwood, IN; and a member of Edgerton Towne and Country Club. Richard loved playing golf, especially with his good friend Larry, driving his red Camaro, "Red Rocket" and remembering jingles which many people didnt know. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Richard is survived by his wife, Denise Dillard; daughter, Danielle Dillard (Mitchell Sliwinski) of Hamilton, OH; 3 sisters, Edna Mae (Larry) Deckard of Cloverdale, IN., Bonnie (John) Crowder of St. Marys, GA., Evelyn Hord of Cloverdale, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Alphair Dillard; and brother, Tom Dillard.
