Roger Kohling Griffeth, 79, passed away Jan. 17, 2018 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born July 12, 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho the son of Arden Fordham and Wilma Colling Griffeth. He married Isabel Barfuss on August 28, 1957 in the Idaho Falls Temple.



He loved to spend time in the outdoors. He worked at Thiokol, for Fireworks West and finished his career as a mink farmer which was his passion. He loved mink farming with his son, Kent. He also loved spending time watching and playing sports. He rarely missed any of his grandkids’ games.



He was a hard worker and loved to teach about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a big, kind, gentle man that will be missed by many. His influence truly inspired others.



He is survived by his wife, Isabel Griffeth of Franklin, Idaho; two daughters, Connie (Todd) Merrill of Preston; Karen (Russel) Hudson of Hyde Park, Utah; a sister, Carol (David) Stevens of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, Anciel Griffeth of Helena, Montana; and by a daughter-in-law, Debbie Griffeth of Franklin, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his son, Kent Griffeth and by a sister, Ardell Archibald.



Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Franklin Stake Center. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
