Dianna was a 1968 graduate of Jonathan Alder High school and retired from Tolles Technical School as a Culinary Aide. She is a very active, long time member of Cornerstone Church of Plain City, where she fervently served her Lord.
Dianna is preceded in death by her father, G. V. Fairchild; in-laws, David and Emily Mitchell; and a very special friend, Marianne Phillips.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Dana Mitchell whom she married on June 21, 1969; children, Tera (Todd) Hawes of Plain City, Travis (Stephani) Mitchell of Hilliard, Troy Mitchell of Plain City; grandchildren, Mitchell (Jenn) Hatcher, Zachary (Cheyenne) Hatcher, Aaron Hawes, Mitchell Hawes, Alex Strohacker, Addie Matello; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Brielle Hawes, Easton Hatcher, whom she affectionately called the love of her life; mother, Maxine Fairchild (Harold) Phillips; sister, Marlene (Tillman) Hay; brother-in-law, Mike Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Dondi Hatcher.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (State Route 161 W.), Plain City, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 with Pastor Mark Barth and Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. Burial Forest Grove Cemetery.
