ROBERT WILLIAM COE, 71, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Toni & Trish Hospice House of Auburn, MI. The son of the late Patrick and Beatrice Coe, Bob was born on March 30, 1946, in Saginaw, MI. He married Joyce Wade on July 17, 1965. She survives him.

Bob graduated from St. Andrew High School Class of 1964. He was employed as an Electrician and then later a Supervisor for General Motors for 42 years retiring in 2006. Bob was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-St. Helen Catholic Church and served on the funeral dinner committee as well as a former football, softball, soccer coach and athletic director. Bob was a former member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in AuGres. He was also a member of the Tittabawassee Township Historical Society. Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family especially his granddaughters.

Surviving besides his wife Joyce are one son and one daughter, Patrick Coe, Saginaw; Heather (Stephen) Fox, Mt. Pleasant; three granddaughters, Haley, Madison and Chloe Fox; his siblings, Prudence Coe and Michael (Patricia) Coe; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Coe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John (Marjorie) Wade; many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel, Erma, Patrick, Sally, Gerald Coe, Rita Hoover and Corrine Lutz.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Private interment will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Toni & Trish Hospice House or Special Olympics Michigan – LETR.
