Carole F. Massaker, 95, of Tunkhannock, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at The Gardens in Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Massaker.
She was born in Newark, N.J., on April 6, 1922, daughter of the late James and Maude Farr Flemming.
Carole graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School in 1940. Soon after, she married her husband, Robert D. Massaker in 1945. She held many different "jobs"- daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, bookkeeper, caseworker, teacher's aide, and many more during her long life. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Tunkhannock.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert (Bobby) Massaker; and her brother, Lloyd Fleming.
She is survived by her daughter Ann and husband Bob Anderson of Tunkhannock; granddaughter Mauri and husband Kevin Conner of Factoryville; great-grandson Graham Henderson Conner; nephew Andrew and wife Susan Fleming of New Jersey.
The family is very grateful for the care Carole received from the staff during her stay at The Gardens.
Services will be private with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
