Tommy Lee Gorden was born to Irven Gorden and Juadean (Vowell) Gorden on November 27, 1941 in Lake Village, Arkansas, and passed from this life on January 6, 2018 at his home in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Tommy was a diligent man with a tremendous work ethic. He owned his own service station and photography shop. He also worked on oil and gas pipelines as an inspector. Tommy retired from the fire department, and he was immensely proud of the service he provided the community as a fire fighter. Tommy was a good family man, and those loved ones who will cherish his memories will always remember that. Tommy was also passionate about photography, and pursued it as a hobby in addition to running his photography shop. He loved blue grass music. Tommy and his wife, Cathy, also enjoyed traveling, and they took many trips together on the back of their motorcycles. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Irven and Juadean, and by his younger sister, Della Mae Higley. Funeral services for Tommy will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Henryetta, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm. Bro. Terry Cossey will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, OK.
