She was born on April 7th 1935 in Diamond Point, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Vida C. (Tubbs) Monroe.
She attended Warrensburg Central School.
On November 24th 1951, she married Wyman L. Russell before moving to Bolton Landing, N.Y. to start a family. They celebrated 66 years together.
When not working outside the home or as a Homemaker, she enjoyed flower gardening in her spare time. She also enjoyed watching the local wildlife, especially the numerous birds that visited the bird feeders in her garden.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers; Charles and Royal, and two sisters; Elsie and Evelyn.
Arrangements by the Baker Funeral Home on 11 Lafayette Street in Queensbury, N.Y.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lake George, N.Y.
