Bradley David was born on June 10, 1959, in Hallock, MN, to William Bill and Maxine (Moritz) Nelson. He grew up on the family farm west of Karlstad, MN, and graduated from Karlstad High School. He was married to Jackie Helling and Renee Holmstrom and became the father of three children.
Bradley spent nearly his whole life living and laboring on Nelson Farms and loved working the soil, side-by-side with his father, and making things grow. In 2006, he moved to Warren, but still commuted to the farm every day to continue his life's work and watch over his Dad. In his free time, Brad enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, and visiting his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Anthony Nelson of Mapleton, ND, Jami Olson of St. Paul, MN, and Ashlee (Ryan) Anderson of Karlstad, MN; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Finn, Freyja, Carter, and Coen; his partner, Janelle Sundby; his father, William Nelson; siblings, Bob (Sue) Nelson, Becky (Jerry) Rude, and Laurie (Leroy) Hougard; and several nieces and nephews.
Bradley was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine.
