Curtis Parker KENNEDALE--Curtis Parker, son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018. FUNERAL: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet. Curtis was born May 20, 1931, in Caldwell. Curtis married Verdell Parker on Feb. 17, 1951, and remained married until she preceded him in 2002. SURVIVORS: Curtis was blessed with six children, Rita Henderson (preceded in death 2010) of Caldwell, Cheryl Gilbert (William) of Irving, Paula Simpson of Kennedale, Curtis Henry Parker and Michael Parker, both of Fort Worth, and Rochelle Culmsee (Rueben) of Sacramento, Calif.; and a legacy that will go on and on.
