Sherry Dickinson Lewis, 81 of Salt Lake City, passed away at her home January 13, 2018. She was born May 2, 1936 in Panguitch to John Dawson and Ida Mae Norton Dickonson. She married Merrill E. Lewis, December 24, 1953 in Richfield. He preceded her in death December 17, 2002.
Sherry and Merrill loved to travel around the country. They loved family gatherings, camping on Monroe Mountain, down to Otter Creek. They enjoyed their winters in Parker and Yuma and made many life long friends wherever they went.
She is survived by children: Lane (Cindy) Lewis, Dawnie (Rod) Benard; grandson, Dylan; siblings: Pearl (Phil) Rogers; Bob (Shyanne) Dickinson, Lloyd (Leslie) Dickinson, Rick Dickinson.
She is also preceded in death by son, Sheril; siblings: Gary, Lennis, Almon, Roger, Clifford.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West 100600 South, South Jordan.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, where friends may call to visit with the family on Friday after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
