William S. LeVan, 73, of Reading, Pa., formerly of Wilmington, died yesterday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Philadelphia.
In recent years he had been making his home with a niece, Mrs. Ruth Shakespeare, of 118 Wyomissing Ave., Reading. He had been ill since last October.
He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include a brother, Paul LeVan, Wilmington; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary McCormick, Long Island, N.Y., and Mrs. Agnes Barker, Norfolk, Va.
Services will be held at the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington St., Saturday at 10 a.m., with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening after 7.
