Wilson S. Deakyne, 65, of 1202 Delaware Ave. died yesterday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, after a long illness.
He was a retired painter. He served in the Navy during World War I and in the Army during World War II.
He is xsurvived by a sister, Miss Margaret B. Deakyne of Wilmington, and a brother, Leslie H. Deakyne of San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning at 11 at the Griffith Mortuary, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
