Steven Dean Gilbert passed away Saturday January 13, 2018 in Roosevelt, Utah after an extended illness.
Steven was born in Ogden, Utah to Dean and Marian Gilbert September 7, 1968. Steven is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
After some traveling to Oregon, Colorado and Nevada Steven married his sweet loving wife Shannon and settled in Roosevelt.
Steven loved hunting and fishing in the mountains and lakes with his dad, family and friends.
Steven was a special friend to all he met. Always there to help, give advice, lend his truck or let them stay in their spare room. He will be greatly miss by his wife and friends.
Steven is preceded in death by his father Dean Gilbert. He is survived by his wife Shannon, Sister Marilee Gilbert Jensen, 2 nephews: Alexander (Cassie) Jensen, John Jensen, and 1 niece, Shaylene Jensen.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018, 12:00 pm with a viewing prior from 11:00 -11:30 am at Myers Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. He will be laid to rest by his dad and other family members in the West Weber Cemetery, west of Ogden, Utah.
