Kinder - Bonita Fuselier Taylor, 64, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. She was a native of Kinder and a resident of Lake Charles. Bonita was a 1971 graduate of Kinder High School where she was a cheerleader. She was a member of Grace Community Church. Bonita was a devout God fearing woman of faith. She was a ray of sunshine! She cared for and loved many children for over 30 years in Kinder and Moss Bluff. She enjoyed watching Kinder football and baseball. She was her sons' biggest fan. Bonita was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by many.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Phillip A. Taylor Sr; two loving children, Bridgett Gail Murphy and her husband Nick of Moss Bluff, Phillip A. Taylor Jr. and his wife Kayla of Topsy; six siblings, Gail Nevils and husband Jerry of Kinder, Huey P. Fuselier and wife Troy of Kinder, Darryl Fuselier and wife Claudia of Kinder, Burnell Taylor and husband Curt of Moss Bluff, Billie Jo Longoria and husband Steve of Southaven, MS, Ricky Fuselier and wife Stephanie of Kinder; seven grandchildren, Brittany Kay Clark, Parker Taylor, Peyton Taylor, Blake Taylor, Paisley Taylor, Allan Brown and Bennett O'Quinn; a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Huey P Sr. and Dorothy Fuselier.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home in Kinder. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday at Reed Funeral Home from 12PM and will remain open until time of service.
