Elizabeth Hayes Denton, 99, of Connelly Springs passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Elizabeth was born October 18, 1918 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Clarence Lee Hayes and Lucybelle Harvey Hayes.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Denton; brother, Charles Lee Hayes; and sister, Sarah Brown.
Survivors include, her sister, Geraldine Bear of Floral City, FL; and nephew Steven Christopher Hayes of Connelly Springs. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with the Rev. Bruce Dayton officiating.
Interment will follow the service at 4:00PM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington, NC .
