Ernest Jenkins Baldwin, 66, of 203 Mt. Zion Street, Lake Waccamaw, NC, died Monday, May 24, in an automobile accident on Old Lake Road near Lake Waccamaw, NC. The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Nathaniel Johnson. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be at the headquarters Friday one hour prior to the service and again following the service. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Wendy Patricia Baldwin; son, Kenneth Baldwin of Washington, DC; mother, Louetta Baldwin of Lake Waccamaw, NC; sister, Carolyn Blanks of Clarkton, NC; and one grandson.
