Jonathan Neal Rose, 61, of Athens, died Monday at his residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Mitchell and Bill Graham officiating. Burial in Dement Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Rose was born August 13, 1956, in Lauderdale County. He was a technician for AT&T for 39½ years.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lita Owen Rose of Athens; sons, Jeremy (Gail) Rose of Huntsville and Christopher (Amanda) Rose of Decatur; grandchildren, Callie Rae Swaim, Trae Rose, Keanyn Olsen, Symon Olsen, Vyncent Olsen and Noah Bryant Rose; brother, Julian Wayne (Wanda) Rose of Elkmont; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, J.B. and Allene Rose, and brother, Jack Rose.
