Yvonne C. Thompson, 75, of Ozark, Arkansas died Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Booneville. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Altus. In 1960 she married Eugene Timmerman and had five children. She was born June 3, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Thomas and Nancy Campbell Guthormsen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her nana, Florence Arrigon and a great granddaughter, Piper Shankle.
Yvonne is survived by two sons, David and James Timmerman both of Altus, Arkansas; three daughters, Nancy Timmerman of Ozark, Suzanne Shankle and husband Bill of Ozark, and Kristy Timmerman of Hernando, Mississippi; thirteen grandchildren and eleven grandchildren
Rosary will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 16th with visitation following at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church in Altus with Father Hugh Assenmacher, OSB officiating and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Trey Levi Shankle, Bryan Williams, Nathan Stewart, Mark Leding, Tyler Timmerman, and Dennis Wiederkehr.
